Sally Ludwig
Sally Ludwig is committed to supporting healthy relationships with self, intimates and family, wider human communities, and the natural world. As a facilitator, she relies on the Work That Reconnects (WTR) to provide a living framework and powerful body of practice for connecting deeply and helping folks move into empowered action on behalf of life. Trained in multiple intensives and study with WTR originator Joanna Macy, she has hosted several intensives with Joanna and colleagues in Guelph, served on Joanna’s facilitation teams, and facilitated WTR workshops. She has convened community conversations and expressive arts sessions on themes of nature connection, ecosystem breakdown, climate justice, and support for activists.
Her work as a relational therapist, instructor and clinical supervisor (now retired) has included the introduction of ecotherapy to the family therapist community in Guelph and southern Ontario. Trained in anti-oppression work, Compassionate Communication, Circle Process, the Transition movement, Permaculture and other social technologies, Sally co-founded Transition Guelph and serves as Lead Trainer for Transition in southwestern Ontario. She continues to volunteer time to build resilience in the local community with particular interest in communication, effective collaboration, and the “inner dimensions” of transition.
